New Torquere Press line for 2008!

Hard boiled detectives. Mysterious strangers. Dangerous dames and western heroes. Space rockets to the moon. That's right, we're doing a pulp novel line in mid-2008!

We want novels in the 50000 to 70000 word novels with true pulp novel / penny-dreadful themes. Think Julia Talbot's popular Tomb of the God King for subject and cover art. Sci-Fi, western, mystery, even beach blanket parties and desert-island castaways - bring it on.

Novels should conform to our regular submission standards, and may be gay male or lesbian in content. We're looking for campy, over the top themes, but framed with solid writing and solid characterization.

Royalties will run 35% on ebook sales on the Torquere site, 25% on distributor sales, and 8% on print books. We will be buying 5 year print and electronic rights.

All of these novels will be going to print, so we're gonna be picky! If you have a seedy, steamy, pulp story that you want to tell, get working!
