Laura Baumbach
Laura Baumbach
has written fan fiction, short stories,
novellas, novels and screenplays. Her first
published book was a collection of erotic horror
short stories entitled Demon Spawn:Tales from
Demon Under Glass. Published in March of
2004 by Sybaritic Press, it was the winner of
the 2004 DIY awards for best of fan fiction, as
well as two SCREWZ awards and two SIZZLER
awards. She contributed three stories to a
second anthology published in March of 2005,
Demon Spawn2.
A number of her short erotic
stories have been published in several on-line
e-zines. Her short erotica story, A Bit of
Rough, published by Torquere Press, evolved
into her first m/m erotic romance novel of the
same name, print published in October of 2005 by
Sybaritic Press. A Bit of Rough has
placed #4 in the Preditors and Editors Reader’s
Poll for favorite romance novel and Laura placed
in the Top Ten of the Reader’s Poll for favorite
Author. A Bit of Rough has also been
awarded the OVER THE MOON award of excellence
from MayReviews.
Working in several genres, she is
also the author of The Flight of the Sparrows,
an action/adventure thriller, and three
screenplays, Details of the Hunt, Heartless
and Second Soul. She newest release is
an erotic paranormal werewolf story, Out
There In The Night, for Loose Id in e
book format, and for Sybaritic Press in print
format.
Currently she is working on a m/m
romance that combines 18th century
pirates with 26th century bounty
hunters called Details of the Hunt.
Another contemporary m/m romance novel with a
thriller element, Mexican Heat, set in
the steamy tropics is in development as well.
