Eric hates the cold weather and his broken down car,
which means venturing out on foot into the sub-zero temperatures. Navigating
the icy sidewalks, he runs into Omar, literally. An impromptu hot coffee on
the cold day finds that tattooed and pierced Eric, and government IT guy
Omar might have more in common than they expected. When Omar is called away,
before he can get the guy's number, Eric believes it may only have been a
pleasant winterlude to temporarily distract him from the cold, or is there a
possibility his winter will get a lot warmer?

"You're a soldier?" Eric wrinkled his nose in confusion. Omar didn't
look like any soldier he'd ever seen.
Omar snorted. "God no, just a civilian. Tech guy."
Eric grinned. "Ah, the hair makes sense then. I thought maybe the army
was getting slack on that front. Not that I'm complaining."
"Nah, they're pretty good, and as part of the IT group I don't have to
wear a suit to work every day, thankfully. Being a geek is good." He
smiled across his cappuccino as he used his tongue to swipe up some
whipped cream. Eric nearly moaned out loud.
"So where do you work?" Omar took another sip of his drink. "Not
government I'll guess, based on the earrings."
Eric chuckled. "Hell no. Suits? Uh-uh. Not my style. I work at the body
mod store on Rideau. Not that I do the mods, but we sell all kinds of
clothes and jewellery and music and you name it in addition to the mods.
I've been manager for a couple of years. We're trying to get a bit more
main stream to bring in more clients. Even with the sucky economy seems
people like to get their parts pierced."
Omar's gaze dropped to Eric's crotch and then quickly back to his face.
He took another lick of whipped cream. "You have any other piercings
hidden under there?"
"Maybe." Eric lowered his lashes and gazed up at Omar with a small
smile.
"Perhaps you can show me sometime." Omar voice was soft and oh so hot.
Eric's grin widened. "If you're lucky."
It was Omar's turn to snort and he raised his eye brows. "We'll see
who's lucky." |
