Noah Kingston and Sawyer Shaw agreed to get married on Valentine's Day in
Boston, and the day has finally arrived. Noah wants to give Sawyer the
wedding of his dreams, but it won't be perfect without Sawyer's family
attending, too.
Sawyer has always had the most faith in their love. When Noah learns
Sawyer's family doesn't intend to even see him again if the wedding takes
place, Noah wonders if that faith will be enough to get Sawyer down the
aisle.

It was a tight fit in the two rented SUVs. Noah was squeezed between his
father and Sawyer, but it meant he could hold Sawyer's hand as Jeannie
navigated the streets of Boston. Their fingers caressed each other's,
and Noah hardly dared to look at Sawyer in case he did something
embarrassing like tackle his lover.
It didn't help when Sawyer leaned close and whispered, "I missed you so
much."
"I called every day."
"Still missed you." He gave Noah a wicked smile and his first finger,
rough from years of playing guitar, stroked Noah's palm. Noah inhaled
and stared determinedly out the window at the brightly-lit streets of
the city.
"My baby is tired and needs some rest," Sawyer announced when they
reached the hotel, which was lush and opulent and marbled, and had a
grand main staircase where Noah wanted to pose Sawyer. Sawyer steered
Noah to the elevators, and Noah tried not to notice how their friends
smirked at each other. "Y'all are on your own for the rest of the
night."
"I have meal bars in my room," said Jeannie, "in case you need help
recuperating."
"Thank you," said Noah and pulled Sawyer into the elevator. He punched
the close door button and yanked Sawyer to him for a hard kiss. Sawyer
made little needy noises as he clutched at Noah's shoulders, which
became a frustrated groan as the elevator rolled to a smooth stop. |
