Jeff's best friend, Eric, is a gifted sorcerer and an officer in paranormal law enforcement. When Eric's identity is compromised, he has to ask Jeff for a very big favor: to trade bodies with him for one day. Jeff agrees, despite or perhaps because of the unrequited feelings he has for his best friend. Suddenly Jeff finds himself in control of the body he's lusted after for years. When all is said and done, being swapped may alter their friendship forever, and going back to "normal" isn't as easy as they thought.

Eric's fingers slide through my hair, sending a shiver through me. He cradles the back of my head gently and whispers against my ear. "Try to relax."

I take a deep breath full of Eric's scent, hold on to it, and slowly let it go. He begins to speak in a low voice, the words he uses part of some archaic language long forgotten by human history. There's a rhythm to the incantation, the weaving spell almost like a song that drifts along his soothing voice. A soft warmth wraps around my entire body, and I feel like I'm beginning to float away from the floor. The darkness behind my eyelids gives way to brilliant light. When it fades, I feel different. Everything feels different.

I open my eyes and see myself in Eric's arms. It's disorienting, like seeing myself in a mirror, only from a completely new perspective. I flex the fingers of Eric's right hand. The feeling of the muscles shifting through his arm surprises me. I notice a small discomfort between Eric's legs, then realize that's my erection poking under his balls. Clearing my throat, I slowly back away.

Eric looks up at me, using my blue eyes to meet his own. A grin curls on his lips and spreads into a wide smile. "See? Nothing to worry about," he says. I wince a bit at the sound of my own voice in someone else's ears.
