Zack's a straight guy with a party to go to and no head for fashion, so
he's more than happy to accept his gay roommate Corey's help with his
wardrobe. But even wearing Corey's scarlet shirt, Zack's not enjoying the
party… not until Corey needs his help evading a jealous ex. Zack's plan
brings him up close and personal with Corey on the dance floor, and brings
the feelings he's been trying to deny to a head. If Zack finds the courage
to admit his attraction, is it possible that Corey feels the same?

"Tonight's gonna be awesome." Corey breezed out of
his room clad in tight blue jeans that left nothing to the imagination
and a green shirt that hugged him like a second skin. "Are you bringing
a date?"
"Huh?" Zack shook himself, tearing his eyes from his roommate's body,
and finished buttoning his shirt. "No. Just you and me, man."
"What happened to Jessica? I thought you guys were getting serious?"
Zack licked his lips. Jessica had thought so too. But in the three
months Zack had been rooming with Corey Hammond, he'd gotten less and
less interested in his willowy blonde girlfriend, and more and more
interested in his toned, tanned and emphatically male roommate. "We
broke up last night," he admitted. "I guess I'm just not sure she's the
one, you know?"
"Hey, I'm sorry to hear that." Corey patted Zack's shoulder
sympathetically. "But you know what, pal? Even a break-up is no excuse
for that shirt. Take it off and let me find you something fabulous, all
right?"
With a rueful grin, Zack allowed himself to be divested of his shirt,
and followed Corey obediently back to his closet. Zack made no pretense
at being a fashion plate: he knew chicks liked the way his ass looked in
Levis, and his favorite dark blue brought out the color of his eyes.
Beyond that, he wore what was comfortable, or what Corey told him to.
"Now this one." Corey whirled and held up a scarlet shirt Zack had no
recollection of buying. "This adds an element of drama, mystique even.
The double-oh-seven look. Girls love that."
"They do?" Zack raised his eyebrows, taking the shirt and inspecting it
closely. "How do you know?"
"Girls," Corey said darkly, wagging a finger, "tell boys like me
everything." |
