Aiden has a special, and sometimes downright annoying talent. He doesn’t
mind being psychic, but it is a pain in the butt when it starts to affect
his sex life. He thinks he might have found the answer in a club called the
Bloodrose, a place where guys like him can find some companionship.
Werewolf and control freak Jared thinks that Aiden might be the most
interesting customer who has ever come into the club. He also thinks he’s
got the perfect solution to Aiden’s little problem. Can he make Aiden
believe that it’s okay to let go when someone is there to catch you?

"This is the biggest of the common rooms, sir. There's
informal dining here, and drinks. It's the most public of the rooms, and
often there will be a show."
The kid giving Aiden the full-on tour of the club named Bloodrose wasn't
doing any kind of hard sell. He was a pleasant-looking vamp of about
twenty-five, so he didn't have that jaded thing going on yet. You could tell
he liked his job, though, and for some reason he really liked the common
room.
The place smelled good. Expensive. He wasn't like a vamp or a werewolf or
whatever; he couldn't distinguish each scent. The food smelled good, though.
Fresh, not greasy and old. There was this air of musk, too, of male need and
anticipation. It made him shift, hoping his burgeoning hard-on wasn't
starting to show.
"Cady and Jonas are doing a show tonight. You picked a great night for your
tour."
"I did, huh?" He had no idea what a Cady and Jonas were, but he could tell
that his tour guide liked them and their show. He didn't even have to lean
to feel that.
"Oh, yeah. You would never believe that Jonas would sub if you saw him out
in public. That's the best part of a private club. The shows."
Huh. Aiden hoped that wasn't true. He hoped that the best part of the club
was what he'd been told by a relatively close acquaintance. He hoped to be
matched up with someone who had the skills to deal with Aiden's particular
issues.
He was never going to get to have sex again if he couldn't get shit under
control. It was just too dangerous. Hell, even the government considered him
a risk.
Speaking of which, his cell phone buzzed in his pocket, and he took it out,
glancing at the number before turning it off. Nope. No business calls right
now.
"That concludes the tour, sir. Did you have any questions?"
"No, I think it's all pretty clear. My final interview is not until
tomorrow…"
"Yes, sir. The floor manager told me to make sure you were comfortable.
Would you like to dine in the dining room, or have something light out here
in the main room and enjoy the show?"
Oh. Man. The dining room would undoubtedly be safer. It was formal, had lots
of leather and manly colors, and there were no half-naked studs sitting on
other guys' laps, being fed on or loved on or whatever…
Yeah. Uhn.
"I'll just stay in here, if that's all right."
