Tatsu never thought he would hook up with anyone at Obon, the Japanese festival for the dead, but things take an unexpected turn when he sees Kage among the dancers. Kage is handsome and seems more then willing to steal away with Tatsu for a little fun, but nothing on Obon is as it seems, and there's more to Kage the Tatsu realizes. Will he be able to deal with his own hungry ghost?

It was harder than it looked. Tatsu watched the little Japanese lady next to him and tried to follow her movements. She seemed to know what she was doing.

Another figure moved into Tatsu’s line of vision. Oh, hello... Now that was a fine piece of man. Whoever he was, he was tall and lithe and wrapped in a rich, dark blue kimono. Spiky, reddish-brown hair fell into his warm, golden eyes; he had the most gorgeous face Tatsu had ever seen.

He was graceful, too. Mr. Tall-and-Handsome moved fluidly and apparently knew what he was doing. Tatsu would rather watch him than the older lady any day.  The guy must have noticed Tatsu ogling at him since he turned slightly and looked Tatsu right in the eye.

Oops. Tatsu shifted uneasily, ready to blend into the mass of people around him in case he needed to. Some guys didn’t like to be stared at, especially by another guy, and the last thing Tatsu wanted was trouble. It was probably really bad luck to get into a fight at Obon. Besides that, his mom would kill him.

Instead of glaring, like Tatsu expected, the guy smiled and winked at him. Oh, that was encouraging. Tatsu wasn’t really looking to hook up with anyone, but he wasn’t going to say no, either.  Maybe he was getting ahead of himself. It was just a smile and a wink. That was it. It didn’t mean that Mr. Hotness wanted to sleep with him, did it? Tatsu really wished he was better at the whole flirting thing.
