Greg has nothing special going on for the holidays, so when his friend
Sophie asks him to charade as her fiancé for an upcoming office party, he
agrees. But he hadn’t planned on finding a lost dog, and then meeting cute
veterinarian Ted. It’s not long before the deal he made with Sophie
threatens his new relationship with Ted. Will Greg and Ted be able to
overcome the confusion and strike up their own deal?

"Here, let me help you with this." Ted picked up some dishes and headed
to the kitchen sink.
"Thanks," Greg said. "This should be quick. I cleaned up as I was
cooking."
Ted squeezed by Greg on his way to the sink, and Greg caught a whiff of
his cologne. "You smell really great."
"Thanks." Ted put the last of the dishes in the dishwasher as Greg wiped
his hands on a dishtowel, and then hung it on a rod. "I smell even
better close up."
Greg turned around, surprised. Ted was standing looking at him, as if
waiting. "You're not shy are you?" Greg asked with a laugh.
"Nope. I'm past the age of being coy."
"Well, then come here," Greg said as he reached out and pulled Ted to
him.
They stood kissing, arms around each other. Greg's tongue played on
Ted's lips and they parted, letting him in. Ted did smell good. And he
tasted good, too. Greg inhaled and deepened the kiss, holding Ted firmly
against him.
When he pulled away, he looked at Ted's thoroughly kissed lips. Then he
glanced up into those pretty green eyes.
"Let's take some wine and go sit in the other room," Greg suggested.
They sat on the sofa, both taking off their shoes. They sipped wine and
talked for awhile, until finally, Greg couldn't take it any longer. He
reached over to set his glass on the end table. When he turned back, Ted
had set down his glass as well. |
