When Derek gets an invitation to a get-together from his mother, Oscar is
excited for the chance to finally meet Derek's elusive family. But he soon
learns the reasons why he hasn't yet - the majority of Derek's family,
including his mother, are transphobic. Oscar and Derek attend the function
anyway, but the stress sends Derek into an all-night migraine, and Oscar is
forced to look for help from the last person he wants to: Derek's mom,
Beverly. Can Oscar convince Beverly that Derek is her child, regardless of
gender? Or will Beverly's narrow-minded ways split her family apart for
good?

"Can I bind your wrists?"
Oscar nodded. "Anything you want." Derek's hands let go then, and one of
them grabbed Oscar's hair, twisting it painfully. Oscar kept his
expression bland, though, didn't respond to the pain. Not yet.
"Get naked."
Oscar took his time peeling his clothes off, starting with his shirt. He
unbuckled his belt and pulled it off slowly, letting it slip through
each individual belt loop one at a time. Then he worked the buttons of
his jeans open, pushing them and his briefs down with a shimmy of his
hips that tore a groan from Derek's throat. "Where do you want me?"
Derek pointed to the bed. "Face down."
Oscar lay down on his belly, stretching his arms above his head. He
grinned as Derek came around to the side of the bed and reached for the
chains. Oscar hissed, the cold metal making him shiver. He'd had the
wooden headboard and matching footboard specially made just a few months
ago as an anniversary present for Derek. Complete with dozens of metal
do-dads from the local farmers' store, it sported two long links of
chain on each side, with quick release carabineers for ease of use and
safety, with the same set up for ankle restraints at the other end of
the bed. Much better than velvet ropes tied to the bedposts like they'd
used before.
