Come on, folks! Get your hunting boots on and slap on some camouflage! To celebrate Torquere Press’ anniversary, we’ve gotten together with some of your favorite Torquere Press authors to create a Scavenger Hunt Contest! Visit each participating author’s webpage to collect clues, get them all correct and you could win a fabulous Sony E-book reader loaded with Torquere Press books!
The Hunt is pretty simple. A list of participating authors and their websites can be found here at this page, beginning September 1, 2007.
Visit each site and search the pages for the Torquere Press button, which will feature a letter of the alphabet. Return to this page once you’ve collected ALL of the letters and fill the author names in next to the appropriate letter. One winner will be chosen at random from all correct entries. There will be one clue a day offered on the Torquere Press Birthday Celebration page - found here!
The contest will run from September 1 to September 30, 2007, starting and ending at 12:00 midnight CST.
CONTEST RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.
ELIGIBILITY: This contest is void where prohibited by law. Must be 18
to enter. The following persons and their dependents are not eligible
to enter or win: employees of Torquere Press and their affiliates, subsidiaries,
advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate families (spouse,
parents, siblings, and children) of each of the above. Torquere Press
will be allowed to use the name of your choice in their contest winner
announcements.
HOW TO WIN: One winner will be randomly selected from all correct entries by
the staff of Torquere Press. Entries must be received before 11:59 p.m.
ET on September 30, 2007. Winners will be announced by October 5, 2007. Torquere Press is not responsible for entries lost or delayed or not
received for any other reason, or for errors in the entry forms or the
rules. Torquere Press reserves the right to announce the winner on Torquere
Press.
PRIZES: Torquere Press will notify the randomly selected winner. The
winner will receive one Sony Ebook Reader complete with one book from each participating author, books chosen by Torquere Press.
HOW TO ENTER: At any time while the contest is posted on Torquere Press,
go to the Monthly Giveaway page of the website. This page will instruct
you to fill in the information on the contest form.
ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY September 30, 2007. Only
one entry per person.
