Featuring Nick and Andy from MISS ME?
by Mel Spenser

"Hi, babe," Nick said as he came through the back door into the kitchen.

Andy was standing at the island going through the sacks of Chinese take-out that he had picked up on the way home. He looked up and smiled at Nick.

"Hey, you."

As Nick walked over to him, Andy stopped what he was doing and turned so that they could put their arms around each other. They stood by the island and kissed.

"How was your day?" Nick finally asked, still holding Andy close.

"It was busy. Whenever Oprah mentions a book on her show, there is always a stampede at the library to get a copy of it," Andy said. "How about you? How was your day?"

"Okay. I was talking to Sue, who works at our site in Dallas. Her brother is getting married," Nick said. "He’s marrying his partner of several years and they are trying to figure out where to go on their honeymoon. I told her about our trip to Cancun, and where we stayed when we went. Remember our trip?"

"Well, duh," Andy said. "I remember everything about it. The resort, the island. I especially remember the room with its king size bed."

"I was going to send her an email later with some links, so she could forward it to her brother," Nick said.

"Sounds like a good idea," Andy said. "So are you hungry? I made dinner."

"I’m always hungry," Nick said. He looked at the sacks on the counter. "It looks like you’ve been slaving away in the kitchen."

"Hey! I had to go three blocks out of my way to get this."

"Just kidding," Nick said. "Let’s eat."

Later that evening, Nick sat down at the desk in their office to write the email.

            Sue,

Here is a link to where Andy and I stayed when we went to Cancun. It is an all inclusive resort right on the beach and has a great view. I recommend it, and would definitely stay there again.

There are plenty of things to do there. When we went, we took a catamaran out to the small island called Isle Mujeres that was about five miles off the coast. The island is a good day trip. We did some snorkeling. The island is small, and you have to rent golf carts to get around. There are some interesting things to see, such as the sea turtle sanctuary and this really unusual house shaped like a giant shell.

There is plenty of shopping and night life, too, if they are into that.

            Anyway, I hope this helps,
            Nick

Andy came up behind Nick, and read the email over his shoulder.

"You know,” Andy said, as he ran his hands down Nick’s chest. "I think we’re about due for another trip ourselves."

"Sounds like a good idea," Nick said, as he held Andy’s hands in his.

Andy leaned over and began using his tongue on the sensitive edge of Nick’s ear. Nick leaned his head to the side, allowing Andy better access.

"How about we go upstairs and talk about it some more," Andy whispered.

"Talk?"

"Well," Andy said. "We will eventually."
